Pastoral Leadership Search Effort (PLSE)

Empowering discernment in youth and young adults

About PLSE

The Pastoral Leadership Search Effort (PLSE, pronounced ‘pulse’) is a program that helps The Episcopal Church to promote and provide conversations, occasions and resources for vocational discernment and leadership development opportunities among the 16-30 years old population of the Episcopal Church.

Our church communities’ future depends on quality leadership.   Through PLSE, We seek to encourage our young people to engage their baptismal covenant and be the best they can be in whatever they do within the Church and in Society in general.

PLSE welcome Young People to bring their passion for serving others to a church Community.

Mission

Through our initiatives, we enable gifted young people throughout the Church to explore and respond to God’s calling in their lives.

We help congregations and dioceses nurture a new generation of gifted and religiously committed leaders for church and society.
